my philosophy
My passion has always been throwing on the potter's wheel, ever since I first came into contact with clay in 2008. My fascination with porcelain developed in the following years. However, many years of practice are necessary to realize the imagined aesthetic on the wheel.
Porcelain is a difficult, temperamental material to master. That's why I like it so much. Its creation requires a great deal of attention and dedication. One must follow the rhythm of the porcelain so that it can develop its unique qualities during the transformative forces of firing.
With proper care, it can last for generations and brings joy and beauty to everyday life.
It is something lasting.
