This bowl has a wide range of uses. Originally designed for a signature dish by Anne-Sophie PIC at the PIC restaurant (2 Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points) at the Beau Rivage Palace in Lausanne, it is suitable for salads, soups and pasta. It has a wide base and enough space to eat comfortably with a fork or spoon.
Made from porcelain, hand thrown on a potter's wheel and fired in an electric kiln at 1,275 degrees Celsius. The inside is only glazed up to 4 cm below the rim to show off the beauty of the matt porcelain and is sanded smooth with diamond sandpaper.

Porcelain is a natural product crafted by Cornelia Hofstetter using traditional methods. Minor variations in shape, size and visible marks from production highlight its natural quality and are considered desirable features.
This porcelain is dishwasher safe and has been carefully smoothed multiple times using diamond sandpaper. For tough stains on unglazed surfaces, you can use scouring powder with a damp cloth or clean with a Magic Sponge.
