This piece, inspired by my trip to Korea in 2024, takes its name from the poppy flower – French Coquelicot. It stands on a stable, not too high base and its closed shape conveys a feeling of calm and security. It is suitable for tea and coffee and holds approx. 125 ml.
Made of porcelain, fully transparent glazed and additionally coated with an oxblood glaze (copper). Fired at 1,280 degrees Celsius in a gas kiln (reduction firing). Each piece is unique, making exact repetition impossible and contributing to the charm of this piece and the firing process.
