A handcrafted blend of porcelain (98%) and red German stoneware (2%) gives this vessel its vibrant character. The interrupted rim of red porcelain is a nod to the years of development and time invested in creating these porcelain-stoneware blends.
Fired at 1,280 degrees in a complex process in a gas furnace (reduction firing).
