This vessel, inspired by my trip to Korea last year, takes its name from the poppy – French: Coquelicot. It stands on a stable, low base and its closed shape conveys a feeling of calm and security. It is suitable for tea and coffee and holds approximately 125 ml.
Made of porcelain, fully glazed with a transparent finish and additionally decorated with an oxblood glaze (copper). Fired at 1280 degrees Celsius in a gas kiln (reduction firing). Each piece is unique, making exact replication impossible, which is part of the charm of this vessel and the firing process.

Porcelain is a natural product and is processed by Cornelia Hofstetter according to pure craftsmanship principles. Slight variations in shape and size, as well as features that emphasise its naturalness and traces of the manufacturing process, are desirable characteristics.
