Rubato is a technique from the world of music that allows musicians to shape the musical flow in order to create an expressive and personal interpretation without completely abandoning the underlying rhythm.
The vessel is thrown on the potter's wheel and, while still damp, manipulated with a wooden tool. To ensure that the drinking experience isn't affected by changes in shape, I moisten the rim again and reshape it into a round form. The capacity is approximately 125 ml.
It is fired in a complex process in a gas oven at 1,280 degrees, giving it its unique color and robustness.

Porcelain is a natural product and is processed by Cornelia Hofstetter according to pure craftsmanship principles. Slight variations in shape and size, as well as features that emphasise its naturalness and traces of the manufacturing process, are desirable characteristics.
