A bowl with lid made of bright white porcelain with a small floral motif serving as a handle. The body is glazed to just below the rim; the lid is unglazed.
The jar is made from high-quality English porcelain and owes its bright white, slightly bluish colour to the oxygen-reduced firing process in a gas kiln.
